I finished this pink quilt for the new grand daughter of my dog's groomer. I asked her three times for confirmation of the spelling of the name, so hopefully it is correct. I used the embroidery function to do the name. I think it adds a lot to the quilt. The squares are Block Party. It is a good square for scraps.
This blue one is made with 4.5 cut squares and then surrounded at the edges with 2.5 x 4.5 cut rectangles. I have many scraps already cut this size so it is useful to sew up a quick quilt.
This yellow is a DNP made with 3.5" cut original squares. I used the same red in the center of the nine patches. I would not make a DNP out of 3.5 again. They are just too small.
These two quilts will go to a summer camp program for foster children. They needed boy quilts so I am glad I had specific boy quilts on hand.
